GBCE is a 3 day event for all crafters from papercrafters, cardmakers, scrapbookers, brides, jewellery makers and more.

We bring in tutors and demonstrators from Ireland and the UK.   We have a shopping village with several promotions and show offers where you can stock up on your craft supplies, buy the latest products and basically get your fix of retail therapy!

This year we will also have Pop Up Shops taking half day stands at the show, bringing you more variety.

Another first will be our dedicated bookable Crop Space – ideal for craft groups – book early these are sure to be popular.

The range of classes is even more diverse this year with a special focus on turning your craft into a business with the option of Digital Photography, Craft Blogging, Teaching Craft and Graphic Software classes.

We have worked hard to make the event affordable and accessible to all by locating it in Athlone .  We know you love shopping, and love doing classes, so we have made that our main focus.

This blog is a forum for the whole event.  As our plans progress, we will be keeping you informed and updated.  And, we also want to hear from you.  We want to know how you would like to be involved, and if you have any questions or queries, please do feel free to ask, and we will do our best to answer.

GBCE 2010 will take place on Friday to Sunday 30th September, 1st & 2nd October 2011.
